Cinco de Moo-yo

Cinco de Moo-yo ... oops, we mean de Mayo ... is a great excuse to drink a Corona with a slice of lime.

The holiday commemorates a victory of Mexican forces led by General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín over French forces in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. The date is observed in the United States and other locations around the world as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride.

However, we know this isn't really celebrated in Mexico, but mostly in the U.S. as an excuse to drink a lot of Mexican beer and swat at Chinese-made piñadas.

Viva la cerveza!
